Marketing Specialist – Aquaculture - TJ / 1838096

This is a specialized marketing and development role focused on the aquaculture (fish farming) sector. The job involves improving market systems, connecting fish farmers with buyers, and developing sustainable business strategies. It is a high-level role combining marketing, field work, and community development.

Conduct market research for aquaculture (fish industry) Identify buyers, traders, and processors Develop market linkage strategies Support formation of producer groups and cooperatives Promote value-added fish products (e.g., fillets, dried fish) Help develop cold storage and processing systems Conduct training sessions (ToTs) for fish farmers Prepare marketing training materials Guide farmers on improving income through better market access Build relationships with seafood companies and exporters Facilitate investments and infrastructure partnerships Work with stakeholders and communities Track sales, income, and market performance Document success stories and project outcomes Develop sustainability and exit strategies

Master’s degree in: Fisheries Business Administration Marketing Experience Market linkage Value chain development Aquaculture or agriculture sector Strong marketing and strategy skills Knowledge of Sindh markets Good English communication Training and stakeholder management
