Description

This is an entry-level role for graduates in quantity surveying. The position involves supporting project teams in managing construction costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring projects stay within budget. You will work on major projects such as residential, retail, hotel, and mixed-use developments across the UAE.

Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates and cost plans Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and related documentation Conduct market research to update unit rates Verify site work, materials, and contractor payments Check and approve invoices and subcontractor payments Maintain payment records and contract documentation Assist in preparing monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts Evaluate cost variations and design alternatives Support final account verification and adjustments Participate in client meetings and project coordination

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field 0–2 years of experience Understanding of cost planning and estimation Knowledge of BOQ preparation using POMI and CESMM standards Familiarity with FIDIC contracts Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word
