Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a senior-level remote role focused on building and scaling an education technology platform. You will work across both backend and frontend systems, helping design and develop scalable solutions that support online learning for students globally. The role requires strong involvement in system architecture, product development, and improving platform performance in a multi-technology environment.

Design and develop end-to-end product features (backend + frontend) Build scalable backend services using Java, Node.js, or similar technologies Develop user interfaces using React and TypeScript Improve and maintain existing multi-stack systems (Java, Node, React, PHP) Contribute to system architecture, domain modeling, and design decisions Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability Manage deployment processes including CI/CD and cloud environments (AWS) Monitor system performance, reliability, and security Use AI tools to support development while validating outputs Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Take ownership of features from development to production

Strong experience as a full-stack engineer Expertise in backend development (Java, Node.js, or similar) Proficiency in React and TypeScript Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and data modeling Experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS) Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and production systems Ability to work across multiple technologies and improve existing systems Additional Strengths Experience working with AI-assisted development tools Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Ability to make technical decisions with long-term impact Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ownership mindset and accountability Ability to work independently in a remote environment Focus on delivering value, not just features
