Junior Front-End Developer - Remote

This role is for a junior-level front-end developer responsible for building and maintaining user-friendly websites and web interfaces. You will work remotely with designers, marketers, and developers to create responsive, performance-optimized digital experiences, mainly for healthcare and wellness clients. It is a learning + execution role with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Build responsive and mobile-friendly web pages Convert UI/UX designs into functional code Develop landing pages, websites, and campaign assets Maintain and update front-end components Work with designers, marketers, and project managers Support SEO and conversion optimization (CRO) tasks Participate in team discussions and planning Optimize websites for speed and performance Ensure cross-browser compatibility Follow accessibility and usability standards Work with WordPress or similar CMS platforms Update content, layouts, and templates Manage basic website maintenance tasks Fix UI bugs and layout issues Test websites across devices and browsers Ensure consistent user experience Stay updated with modern front-end technologies Participate in code reviews Improve coding skills through mentorship

0–2 years experience (internships, freelance, or personal projects acceptable) Bachelor’s in: Computer Science Software Engineering Web Development or equivalent experience Technical Skills HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (strong knowledge) Responsive design (mobile-first approach) Basic understanding of SEO-friendly coding WordPress or CMS experience (preferred) Familiarity with Git/version control Bonus Skills React, Vue, or similar frameworks Tailwind CSS / Bootstrap Figma / Adobe XD Performance optimization basics Accessibility (WCAG) knowledge Soft Skills Strong attention to detail Good communication (remote work friendly) Problem-solving mindset Willingness to learn Time management skills
