Partnerships Specialist - Liaison

The Partnerships Specialist – Liaison role at UNOPS focuses on providing strategic advisory support in managing partnerships and stakeholder relationships, particularly with government institutions. Provide strategic advice on stakeholder management with government authorities Support engagement with public sector institutions in Ecuador Analyze political and institutional context, including government plans and priorities Assess risks, challenges, and future scenarios in the country Identify opportunities for cooperation in sectors such as health, infrastructure, and environment Monitor developments in key cities like Quito, Guayaquil, and Cuenca Provide recommendations for crisis management and institutional risk situations Support the development of partnership strategies and decision-making processes

Master’s degree preferred in Political Communication, International Relations, Law, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields OR Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with at least 7 years of experience 5–7 years of experience (depending on education level) in stakeholder management with government institutions (Ecuador preferred) Experience working with national or international public sector organizations is an advantage Strong understanding of political, institutional, and government processes
